Forced to change:
Ever since my phone was stolen,
I was forced to give up what it harbored.
All the phone numbers of people that
I care about… To a certain extent.
And all of the numbers of people I thought I knew.
I had no choice, since I didn’t remember them by heart, but
To give them up.

All of my summer memories, 
Gone.
All of my photos and videos,
Gone.
All of my personal notes and poems,
Gone.
Passwords,
Gone.
Forced to change.

Enforced evolution:
I look at this loss 
As a turning point.
I don’t believe in coincidences.
The reason for this loss,
Was to let go of the dead weight.
To let go of the things holding me back.
Who was I before my iPhone 4?
Who am I without it?
In a way,
It was necessary.
To live life outside of the confines of
Technology.
To make moves,
And trust myself to remember
My daily tasks.
To evolve from the 
Mundane.
To become the greater.
To use my brain for thinking,
Rather than the 16g hard drive of
My iPhone.
Yes technology is great.
But self will always be greater.
What comes first? 
The chicken or the egg?
What comes first? 
The cell phone or the engineer?
It’s pretty clear.
Enforced evolution.
